Controversial Call Leads to Giants Win

The Giants trailed 27-24 but were driving late in the fourth when Victor Cruz caught a pass and then went down without getting tackled and left the ball on the ground. The Cardinals recovered but the play was already ruled dead and was not challengeable. The refs ruled he had given himself up and thus was down - much like when a QB slides. The Giants scored a touchdown on the drive and won the game, 31-27.
