Rivers Fumbles Away Chance to Beat Chiefs

The Chargers had the ball on the KC 15 with just over a minute remaining. All they had to do was take the handoff, take a knee and then kick a chipshot field goal. Instead, Rivers couldn't handle the snap and Chiefs linebacker Andy Studebaker recovered.
The game went to OT where the Chiefs' Ryan Succop hit a 30-yard field to goal to win it. The Chiefs are now in first place in the AFC West.
