May 24, 2012High School Team Pulls Off Trick Pick-Off Play
With the bases loaded, the pitcher fakes the pick-off to second base and the entire team pretends as if the ball has been overthrown. Once the runner on 3rd heads home the pitcher nails him at the plate. Now you can debate whether this is unsportsmanlike or not.

Caleb Lloyd grabbed home run balls from Mike Leake and then Zack Cozart in the fourth inning yesterday. It was Leake's first home run so he gave him the ball back and then gave Cozart's home run ball to the person that brought him to the game.
May 21, 2012Nats Pitcher Strasburg Hits Homer
Stephen Strasburg improved to 4-1 after pitching 5 innings and striking out 8 against the Orioles on Sunday. His performance on the mound wasn't surprising but what he did at the plate was. Strasburg went 2-for-2 including hitting his first home run in the majors. He hit the ball 398 feet to left-center to give the Nationals a 5-3 lead. Nationals went on to win 9-3 to avoid a 3-game sweep to the Orioles.

During the 5th inning a swarm of bees invaded Coors Field and took over a spot near the camera by first base. The game was delayed shortly and later a beekeeper came in to clean things up.
