British long jump champion J.J. Jegede clears 3 Mini Coopers. It looks cool but it's not actually that impressive. The jump is approximately 20 feet and his best is just over 26 feet. That's a pretty big margin for error.

Pistorius Storms Out of BBC Interview
Oscar Pistoriusis a double-amputee sprinter for South Africa and specializes in the 400m. In a BBC interview Tuesday he was asked if he thinks of himself as "an inconvenent embarrassment." Pistorius took it as an insult and left the interview.

August 30, 2011Pole Vaulter's Pole Snaps
On Monday at the IAAF World Championships, Dmitry Starodubtsev of Russia was attempting to reach a pole vault height of about 19 feet when his pole snapped in half. Luckily he landed safely on the mat but he injured his hand in the process and withdrew from the competition.
